Terms & Conditions – Robin Removalist

Our goal at Robin Removalist is to ensure a hassle-free, painless moving journey for each and every client. These Terms & Conditions are the agreement between you and us in relation to your use of our services and booking with us. If you agree to these terms, then press yes on the booking form.

1. Handling & Safety of Goods

While our team is very careful when transporting your items, and it’s rare that anything goes wrong during a relocation, disasters can happen.
If something is broken (not an electronic appliance), you need to report it to our office within 24 hours after your job is completed, and then we will send someone to check the damage.

2. Claims for Electronic Items

It is only after an on-the-spot verification, we can consider claims regarding electronics, which include TVs, Refrigerators, etc.

They need that to file a claim for insurance.

We will consider your situation individually, and we will not take extreme compensation claims. Claims for other losses not directly associated with the damages suffered, excessive demands or replacement of old items for new without factual necessity will be excluded.

3. Items Packed by the Customer

We take precautions during transport, but we can not guarantee that items will arrive safely at your door when packed and shipped by the customer.

We cannot accept any liability for breakage of glassware, crockery unless packed by us, found in cartons packed by yourselves or others.

4. Respectful Conduct Policy

Our removalist team is dedicated, and we do everything we can to give you a professional, respectful and friendly service.

Hate, bullying or disrespect towards our team members will not be tolerated.

We do reserve the right to deny service or cease providing products for any reason if a member of our team deems themselves unsafe or threatened.

5. Feedback & Concerns

If anything comes up during your move, or you would like to provide feedback upon receipt of service, please contact the office.

We invite customers to let us know so we can investigate and assist accordingly.

6. Cancellation Policy

Should you wish to cancel, please let us know a minimum of three days in advance.

Last-minute changes affect scheduling, and our ability to serve other clients in need of services for the time reserved; therefore, such short notice may include a service charge equal to the Original Service Charge.

7. Booking Amendments

You can reschedule your booking for free, as long as it does not interfere with our current schedule.

Expanded revisions or extensive modifications may incur more terms if available.

8. Payment Requirements

The balance is due upon delivery of merchandise.

We have a range of safe payment methods. Money transfer via third-party platforms, cards or digital wallet methods could be charged a personal processing fee depending on the transaction’s amount and service provider.

9. Road Usage & Transport Routes

Inventables to have predictability in scheduling and safe travel, your crew may adhere to designated routes of travel and avoid toll roads except for approved/reasonable toll charges.

Please discuss special routing in advance.

10. Conditions of Service

By making a booking with Robin Removalist, you accept these:

  • You are now authorised to call for the migration of the above-mentioned items
  • Pick-up and drop-off points are secure and convenient
  • Any extra labour, time or obstacles can impact the length of service for your move.
  • You will communicate accurate details on the layout of your property, stair access or any large items

Misrepresentation of fact has the potential to change the terms of service.

11. Limitation of Liability

The following are not the responsibility of Robin Removalist:

  • Packaging of the product by the customer is the cause of damage
  • Wear-and-tear on furniture or appliances
  • Delays due to traffic, weather or any cause beyond our control
  • What they don’t tell you before you move
  • Dismantling or fitting losses if these are carried out at the customer’s request

We do everything possible to prevent any damage, but risk is a part of moving.

12. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our site, requesting a quote, or booking your move with Robin Removalist, you accept that you have read and understood these Terms & Conditions.
